Scrapbooking #11

I love this photo of me and my sister with our Grandad and I finally got round to using it in a scrapbook page.

The background is just a brown folder divider which matched nicely with the patterned paper I used to mount the photo on. The tag at the top came from a sheet of scrap booking images and I used Letracet to add the year.
To spell out the word Grandad I used small letter cards that appeared in my craft stash. I don't know where they came from but I think they're really old. To finish off the page I added some strips of green and brown ribbon.

This Week I...

...celebrated my Grandad's 90th birthday!
Granddaughters & Grandad selfie!

My Grandad wanted to go out for breakfast so we took him to The Hermitage which used to be a dance hall my Grandad went to back in the day. He hadn't seen it since it's been turned into a trendy restaurant and, to be honest, he was't impressed by what they've done with the place! The gold ceiling is now black, there's exposed brick which he doesn't like and he thinks they've ruined the floor.

But he did like the food!
