This Week I...

...took the Year 11s on an art trip to London to visit the Tate Britain and the Tate Modern. It was my first chance to check out the new bit of the Tate Modern which includes a viewing platform on the 10th floor which gives you a pretty good view of the city.

It was back to London on Saturday to start half term fun times with my boyfriend. First stop; the Natural History Museum. Have you guys seen all the variations of elephants there used to be? Tusks in all kinds of places!

In the evening we met up with my sister to go to Nashville Nights. It was Andrew's first time and he fit in very well in his plaid shirt.

What did you get up to this week?

This Week I...

...had a weekend in London to celebrate the fact that Lizzi is getting married in less than 90 days!!
We stayed at the Grange Strathmore hotel, in a room for all four of us, and immediately put on the bath robes upon arrival #luxury.

In the evening we surprised Lizzi by taking her to see Breakfast at Tiffany's starring Pixie Lott.

The next day, after a glorious breakfast buffet, we decided to do a spot of shopping, heading first for Harrods. Their Christmas World is a magical place and I want to live in it.

This Week I...

This week was half term! Yay! Once I'd recovered from my busy weekend at the end of last week I went and enjoyed my week off.

I took a trip to London and went to the Hunterian Museum again. That place is fascinating and disgusting. Have you ever seen a skull with the baby teeth still in? So weird!

And I went to see In The Heights at the King's Cross Theatre. It was so good, especially since we got bumped from the back row to the second row with no one in front of us so we had a great view.

This Week I...

...got given this awesome cake on the last day of term from one of the art teachers!
The last day of term was a half day with the morning consisting of a carol service, washing brushes, and hanging out with a teacher's baby.

On Saturday my family and I went to London for the day to peruse the Christmas markets and see The Ballad of Robin Hood at Southwark Playhouse.
On the way back to Kings Cross station we popped in to St Pancras to see the Disney toy tree. It's so awesome! It has Disney music playing out of it, and all the toys are going to be donated when the tree comes down.

Also while in London we saw Ronan Keating filming for his new music video along the Southbank!

How was your week? Getting excited for Christmas?
