...went to Disneyland!

My Mum retired from teaching at Easter and she wanted to mark the occasion by all of us taking a trip to Euro Disney for four days.

One of my favourite parts of Disneyland is the characters! My Dad took this photo and then Jessie asked for a picture with him. He loved it.

This Week I...

...went to Disneyland with my sister!

We popped over to Paris for 4 days on the Eurostar.

We saw loads of characters, which is really the best part of Disneyland, right?

And we had our photo taken with some of them, including Mulan and Remy from Ratatouille! 

 My sister and I aren't big rollercoaster people so we went on all of the small rides, and took selfies on most of them. This is us on the slinky dog ride!

Disneyland's Main Street was all decked out for Halloween and half of my photos are me posing with the decorations.

I had such a fun time, but then it was back to work the next day. Boo.

My own Disney colouring pages

 Here are some true facts:

1) Colouring is fun

2) High-fiving Disney characters and trying to capture it on camera is fun

So I present to you the 'High-5 Disney Character Colouring pages' (it's a working title)

I used these photos from my trip to Disneyland last year of my friend Lizzi high-fiving, or trying to high-five, Disney characters.

Minnie Mouse was loving it. The Queen of Hearts on the other hand totally blanked Lizzi. Not cool!

I put the photos into a programme called Revelation Art. Sure, there's probably a way to do this on Photoshop but I don't have that on my computer.

I layered a blank page over the photo and used 'onion skins' to alter the transparency. Then I used the 'simple spline' tool to draw curved lines, tracing the picture.

This is the same method I used to make my Colour Me Magnets

I think these are so funny, and now I just need to take Lizzi back to Disneyland to get a full set!

Hey everyone. How was your weekend? Get up to much?

What did I do?

I went to Disneyland!!!

Sneaky little 4 day trip with my best friends in France when I should have been working on my degree show piece.

Shhh, don't tell my tutors.

For me, Disneyland is mostly about trying on all the hats...

Doing a lot of posing...

And tracking down the characters.

(Baloo pretty much attacked us with a group bear hug right after this photo. Scary stuff)
