Camera case

I finally got myself a new camera and thought I should probably keep it in a case as I'd been carrying around my previous camera in a sock.

So I quickly whipped up this simple case this morning.

It's made from the same material I used for this bow which is quick thick and plastic-y. I just folded a strip over and sewed down the sides.

I also lined the case with felt for extra protection.

For the closure I just tied a hair elastic to the case which fits nicely around the camera.

I needed to make this case pretty quickly as I'll be needing it tomorrow when I take a trip to the most magical place in the world (well, in Europe)

Forgotten film

Juice box?

No! It's a camera!

Crazy right?

My sister and I got this camera years ago and then it got kind of forgotten.

When I found it again I discovered it still had a film in so I sent it off to get developed (which is way more expensive then it used to be).

(I can't get this photo to rotate. Just tilt your head...)

I had no idea what was on the film so I was really excited to see the photos.

There's a whole bunch from a school trip in year 9.

Year 9 was about 8 years ago!

Should I admit that I still have the t-shirt I'm wearing in the photos?

I think I just did...

I'm thinking it might be fun to turn it into a full charm necklace, and add this little guitar charm that I've had for ages. 

Then I looked on Etsy for other charms I might like to add.
