Ink Landscapes

This workshop was to make inky Hawaiian landscapes. My example piece used a lot of different techniques and resources; wax resist, washes, sponges, brushes, wooden sticks.

First I had the children try out these different techniques and experiment with the ink.

And then they created their landscapes.

The ages of the children ranged from 5 to 12 so there was a wide variety of work produced.

I think they all did a great job.
