This Week I...

...started working on some sell-able things for Christmas time.
Last year I was really busy in October/November making things for Christmas craft fairs, so this year I thought if I do a little bit throughout the year I will be plenty prepared.
And all the cutting and sorting gave me a chance to catch up on Neighbours.

On Saturday I helped run an art workshop for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation in Manchester as part of the Letchworth Arts Centre. We made treasure boxes and clocks out of sticky tape, and the clocks have fairy lights in them! It was a great day and I'm looking forward to the next one at the end of the month.

And since it was 3 and a half hours away I got a night in a Premier Inn. I want to eat from a breakfast buffet everyday! 

Also this week my friend Laura announced that she and her boyfriend are engaged!
Since I did this for Lizzi, I thought it was only fair to share a childhood photo of me and Laura who have also known each other since playgroup. And I'd like it known that although I am still quite tiny, Laura and I are pretty much the same height now. Laura would probably like it known that she doesn't have that cute 'fro any more.
Like Lizzi, Laura also happened to give us the happy news in Cafe Rouge so from now on we'll be suspicious if anyone invites us to meet there, we'll be expecting big news!
